The Primitive Methodists built a chapel in 1850 in Holme-on-Spalding Moor, in Runner End, which was replaced by the Zion Methodist Chapel in 1880 and closed in 1986.
The chapel was sold and has been converted to a private residence.
Archaeological monitoring was undertaken in 2006 which revealed the partial remains of the former Primitive Methodist Chapel north wall foundations.
