Archaeology
The parish of Holme-on-Spalding Moor has a wealth of heritage which spans more than 2000 years. Much of our knowledge of this heritage comes from archaeological discoveries made during evaluation and monitoring of development sites. As more opportunities become available, through archaeological conditions on planning applications, it is possible to build the picture of how the landscape has changed and about the lives of the people who once lived here.
