Stone Age (Pre 10,000BC – c.2000BC)
The Stone Age is divided into three sub periods:
Paleolithic (Pre 10,000BC)
Mesolithic (c. 10,000BC – c.5000BC)
Neolothic (c.5000BC – c. 2000BC)
Flint tools from the Mesolithic and Neolithic periods in particular have been found in the parish.
